The purpose of the First Baptist Church is to love, honor, and glorify Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as both Savior and Lord. We are committed to making disciples for Christ, by the empowerment of the indwelling Holy Spirit, both in our community and throughout the world. We are also committed to the humble worship of God; to edify, exhort, and encourage one another by the faithful teaching of the Word, by prayer and fellowship, seeking to equip each believer to serve God and man.
If you are looking for a church where you can come to worship the Lord, learn, grow, and become more like our Savior Jesus Christ; then come join us. We serve Asbury Park, Ocean Grove, Neptune, Ocean Township and surrounding communities, with people driving in from places as far away as Lakewood and Manchester.
